What is a high paying job in science field that does NOT require you to go to medical school?


say for example i am majoring in biology or chemistry but I do NOT want to go to medical school or any other type of medical school. what is a job that pays atleast 80K starting after you graduate with a degree in biology or chemistry or nutrritional sciences or even biochemistry???|||Dude, you would need to put in at least one more year of some type of medical training or scientific research to get an advanced degree. Or choose an allied health position that requires a BS, which then you would take the pre-reqs your first couple of years, and finish the career courses the next two. Still, your salary would probably be somewhere in the $55-$60,000 range in the very beginning.





To make the amount you want, you would need some additional training / focus. You might be able to land a research job of some kind with just your major, though.

You can do medical records - again 1 or 2 years at college to learn how to keep health records private.





Niether of these pays 80K. More like 30 to 40K, but if you work hard, you can be promoted.

Asking for 80K straight out of school is rather arrogant IMO.|||If you are motivated enough, an option to make that kind of money out of college (in the medical field) with a degree in biology, chemistry, or nutritional sciences would direct me to suggest drug or medical devise sales.





These are not easy jobs to come by, but for the right person, with the right training, and the right motivation it pays well.
