I know I want to go into the medical field. I'm a sophomore in high school. I have some choices in my head. I want to either be a OB, Baby Ultra Sound Tech., CNA, or something along that line.
I need to know like what math classes I need, science, if I should take medterm, and if I need four years of a languauge. Please help!|||CNA program will not require much, other than a HS diploma or GED. For college healthcare professions, I recommend you make sure you take biology and chemistry in HS.. For math, you want ot make sure you have at least taken algebra, it would be a positive if you get geometry, and pre-calculus.
I don't know that you need any foreign language skills for health care programs. If your HS requires it, take whatever interests you, but taking Spanish can be more practical in the long term since depending on where you live, you may have a significant hispanic population that doesn't speak English very well.|||Take AP sciences if you can, take your language as Spanish. Your main thing is to keep your grades up. You need to get good grades in your first 4 years of college and major in something such as Biology so you can be admitted into a good medical school.
If you only wanted a CNA or tech degree just get good grades, AP in Biology and thats about it.
