I want to pursue medial field, health care or nursing program. Thus, Should i volunteer about health or medical field at my community?
Is it good for me? in college or university
Plus, do i have join a club in my high school or activities for the extracurricular if i want to study at university and how long is good?|||Yep, you should volunteer. A) It gives you that much more of an edge over others. There is no substitute for experience. B) It will also give you the chance to get into the field and pick the other workers' brains about the industry. Maybe they'll be able to give you direction or insight you otherwise might have missed.
As for college the more extracurricular activities you have directly related to your chosen field, the better. A future job recruiter probably doesn't care that you're a world class tuba player but DOES care that you've taken the time to supplement your formal education with practical and real world experience somewhere. It could tip the scales in your favor.
As for length, it all depends on if you enjoy the volunteer activity and it isn't interfering with your life otherwise. Don't let it consume all your free time or get in the way of school. By that same token, look around for somewhere/something you actually have an interest in and WANT to learn more about, or a place you actually want to spend some free time. If you're forcing yourself to do it then probably it isn't the right choice for what you want out of a career.
I can tell you that while I was in the Peace Corps it definitely helped the Health Volunteers to have past volunteer work on their application.
